Hey dudes, just wanted to share this awesome hack from untergeekDE. It took me pretty much all day to figure out I was using a hub that wouldn’t work. Eventually I went to target and got this one and everything worked perfect. I followed this tutorial (minus the capacitor, it seemed to work fine without it). I highly recommend this hack, it’s not too difficult if you have some soldering skills. The only strange thing is sometimes when I power up the dock nothing is recognized by the iPad. All I have to do is turn it off and then on again and it seems to work. Also, sometimes when I plug in a new device it will kill the power to others. Again, just turning off and on will fix this. It might be the missing capacitor, but I’m not entirely sure. Other then that everything works great and it’s super awesome to be able to plug in multiple midi controllers via usb!

And will most likely use it for short cat videos. But, here is a sneak peek at a new song for my next album.

Hey dudes, here is my latest live loop using Beatmaker 2, Animoog, and Loopy. The mpk’s sustain button is controlling when loopy starts/stops recording and I have various other knobs controlling effects in Beatmaker. Beatmaker is also sending midi data to Animoog for the lead. Extra fun noise from the homemade sequencer triggering the Monotron.
